ERIN L. NGUYEN, O.D.
Dr. Erin Nguyen earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA after earning her bachelor's degree in Biology from Villanova University in Villanova, PA through the 3+4 Optometry Affiliate Program. She has relocated to Lewes to join the Delaware Eye Clinics team after growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
Her externships included a primary care rotation at Nittany Eye Associates in State College, PA; a hospital rotation at DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic in Washington DC; a contact lens rotation at Charleston Eye in Charleston, SC; a pediatric rotation at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA; and an ocular disease rotation at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Haven, CT.
Through her externships, she has gotten experience treating patients of all ages including but not limited to the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, the treatment of various eye conditions such as dry eye and styes, and refractive error correction with glasses and contact lenses.
She is an active member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Delaware Optometric Association. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, being active, and spending time with her friends and family.
